Utility Also Purchases SecureInfo's Leading Information Security Risk Management Software Product -- SecureInfo RMS(R) -- to Address Information Security Risk Management
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that one of the nation's largest public power providers has selected its SecureInfo cybersecurity group to help protect the utility's information assets. The utility purchased the SecureInfo RMS® software product and related services to streamline information security risk management efforts.

SecureInfo RMS was chosen after a rigorous review of leading information security risk management software products. The review included a detailed feature by feature comparison and live demonstrations that simulated the utility's information technology environment. SecureInfo RMS was selected based upon its ability to help meet information security and compliance objectives while easily integrating with existing security processes.

SecureInfo RMS will simplify and streamline all aspects of the information security Risk Management Framework (RMF) and enable the utility to reduce costs, create a standardized RMF program and provide ready access to consistent, quality information security artifacts critical to maintaining a robust security posture. Due to certain customer specific and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
