August SecureInfo Awarded BPA for Risk Management Services

This BPA is a key element of the Information Systems Security Line of Business (ISSLOB) which is an OMB E-Gov initiative managed by DHS FNS
Washington, DC, August 29, 2011 – SecureInfo® Corporation, a market-proven provider of cybersecurity solutions, today announced the company has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for cybersecurity services by the General Services Administration and the Department of Homeland Security. The BPA includes a broad range of cybersecurity services defined within the National Institute of Standards (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), including continuous monitoring, security authorization, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services.

"SecureInfo has a proven track record of providing cybersecurity services to numerous federal government departments and agencies," said Christopher Fountain, president and CEO of SecureInfo. "This award is especially important and timely as the entire federal government works to implement the comprehensive NIST Risk Management Framework. We are extremely pleased to be a prime contractor on this full and open contract and look forward to continuing to support efforts to secure information assets used across the government."

GSA and DHS’ Federal Network Security (FNS), an organization within the National Cyber Security Division will directly oversee work performed under this BPA. As part of FNS’ expanding role in securing information assets used across the federal government, the organization drove the creation of this BPA. The goal of the BPA is to provide a more efficient way for government agencies to obtain cybersecurity services. Using the BPA, government agencies will have a more cost effective and streamlined approach for specifying and selecting services intended to improve the security posture of their information systems and networks.
